“Bueno, yo nací en León, Guanajuato, México. Y, una experiencia que me marcó mucho fue cuando una vez que estuve a punto de morir. Me caí del techo de la casa de mi abuela, y caí de cabeza. Quedé inconsciente, y una varilla se me encajó aquí [detrás de su oreja]. Sí. Fue algo fuerte. Yo pensé que - yo me desmayé, y cuando yo desperté, estaba en el hospital… pero no me pasó nada. Nada más tuve que quedar con un collarín varias semanas, y ya. Me recuperé. Nada más que sí me dijeron que tiempo después, unos años, me sacaran radiografías porque puede que después este, se surgiera algo en la cabeza, pero nunca he ido… Tenía 10 años.”

“Well, I was born in León, Guanajuato, México. And, one experience that impacted me was one time when I was on the verge of death. I fell from the roof of my grandma’s house, and I fell headfirst. I was knocked unconscious, and a rod entered my head [behind her ear]. Yeah. It was really impacting. I thought that - I fainted, and when I woke up, I was in the hospital… But I was ok. I only had to wear a collar for various weeks, and then I was done. I healed. Only they did tell me that later, in a few years, they would take x-rays because something could have emerged in my head, but I haven’t gone… I was 10 years old.”
